Cooking-centric social platform
About the project
Weat offers a huge library of videos of recipes with easy-to-follow step-by-step video guides. The social media platform lets users create their own video recipes, like, comment, share, follow and subscribe for updates from their favorite cooks, and buy private recipes. Restaurants can use the platform for promotion.
Product features
Custom recipe creation
Each step in the recipe is presented as a video. Users can cut video, add text, and change visual effects. Similar functionality you may find on Tik-Tok and Instagram.
Data moderation
​To prevent the creation of restricted content, the platform allows admins to monitor created content and mark it appropriately.
Video feed
The data feed updates all the time and users see fresh personalized content based on their dietary requirements and food preferences.
Notifications
Users get notifications regarding their activities e.g. likes, comments/responses, or subscriptions.
Administration panel
Restaurant owners have the ability to manage their business in a convenient way using a web application based on Flutter.

Functionality
While cooking and following recipe users can ask Jarvis (our virtual assistant) for help. For example, they can ask for a substitution for specific ingredient recipes.
Implementation
In order to achieve good results with little effort, our team decided to incorporate OpenAI into the application.
